Mika was an integral part of our company launch at MBG. She assisted and directed us with all our compliance, including COVID-19 back to work policies, implemented a new structure to our staff handbook and organised our staff contracts. It’s never easy speaking to someone in the workplace about your mental health, however, when Mika came on board as our HR representative, she listened and made time to understand how I was feeling. The attention she gave really showed my wellbeing as an employee was important, she also went out of her way to implement processes for other members of staff who may require a safe and confidential space to talk. I think it’s incredibly important that companies have strong mental health awareness for their employees and Mika is a great person to help structure this within your organisation.

Disciplinaries are something we hope we can avoid as much as possible, unfortunately, we did have a situation where a member of staff was acting fraudulently, and this put our business at risk. We brought in Mika to help manage the process and ensure we were doing everything fairly and correctly. Mika helped relieve a lot of the pressure and allowed the process to remain unbiased so we could make the right decisions.
